Greater Mymensingh Association of Pennsylvania ("GMAP," "we," "our," or "us") respects the privacy of members, applicants, volunteers, event participants, donors, website visitors, and people who communicate with us. Depending on how you interact with GMAP, we may collect information such as your name, email address, mobile number, mailing address, district, occupation, membership information, profile photo, event registration information, communication preferences, and records needed to administer organizational programs.

• Administer events, programs, committees, tickets, QR passes, and community services.

3. SMS and Mobile Information

When you voluntarily opt in to GMAP SMS communications, we may use your mobile number to send transactional messages such as membership and event confirmations, picnic QR/pass links, event reminders, administrative notifications, and member support replies. Message frequency may vary. Standard message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help.

We will not sell or share your mobile information with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes.

Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with third parties for purposes unrelated to providing the messaging service. We may share limited information with service providers, telecommunications carriers, and technology vendors only as needed to deliver, secure, or support the SMS service, subject to appropriate safeguards.

4. SMS Consent

SMS consent is optional, is collected separately from other agreements, and is not a condition of becoming a GMAP member or participating in an event. SMS consent checkboxes are not pre-selected. You may withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP to a GMAP message.

5. Service Providers

GMAP may use trusted service providers for website hosting, database services, email, messaging, storage, security, payments, or related operational functions. These providers receive only the information reasonably necessary to perform their services.

6. Public Member Information

Only information specifically approved for public display is shown in public member directories or public website areas. Administrative and application records are not made publicly readable by design.

7. Cookies, Local Storage, and Technical Data

Our website may use browser storage and technical information needed for preferences, authentication, security, accessibility, or site functionality. We may also receive ordinary server or service logs used to protect and operate the website.

8. Data Retention and Security

We retain information only as reasonably needed for membership, event, organizational, legal, security, and recordkeeping purposes. We use administrative and technical safeguards intended to protect personal information, but no online system can guarantee absolute security.

10. Children

Our general website and SMS program are not designed to knowingly collect SMS consent directly from children without appropriate parent or guardian involvement where required.
